HOT DAYS was under stout restraint early, moved up with a rush through the stretch and drew clear under mild urging. BOLO FANCY was steadied closest to the early pace, took command in the stretch when FIGHTING MAC quit, but could not withstand the winner. NEW FACE improved her position gradually and closed well on the outside. SPOON BREAD lacked early speed, but closed ground in the late stages. BLACK RA weakened after showing early speed. TIME UP passed tired horses. CAROLINA BELL was unable to improve her position. FIGHTING MAC was sent into a clear lead, but was bearing out and quit. GIANT SERVANT could not keep up. Attendance, 9,212; Total Mutuel Pool, 82,285 Returned to Public, 93,588, Less Breakage.
