Armed in Speed Trial HAVRE DE GRACE, Md., May 14.— Calumet Farms champion gelding, Armed, has been advanced steadily in his training and yesterday morning reeled off his swiftest half mile since being returned to training. Merely breezing throughout the four-furlong spin, the son of Bull Lea — Armful was timed in :49 and appeared to be "crying to run." Young H. A. "Jimmy" Jones feels that he is about four or five weeks from a race and will be returned to competition during the Chicago summer meetings.
