Numerous Juvenile Races Carded at Narragansett Nursery Stakes on July 4 Will Test Many Promising Youngsters NARRAGANSETT PARK, Pawtucket, R. I., May 30. Having earned a fine reputation as an excellent proving ground for many outstanding two-year-olds, Narragansett Park hopes to bring out a number of top-notch youngsters during its 30-day meeting which opens Monday. With numerous juvenile races carded and with the 0,000 Narragansett Nursery Stakes the headline attraction, the baby racers will get many opportunities. The .Nursery scheduled for five and a half furlongs on July 4, has attracted a list of 65 eligibles and among them it is believed that a potential champion will emerge. Double Jay used the New England sector as a springboard to national prominence last season and was finally voted the best two-year-old colt of the year. Of those seeking to emulate Double Jay, Air Rate and others are O. B. Burghers Easy Al, Irving Gushers Andys Glory, T. C. Melroses Hash Night, Oran Lodges Fly Away, Tralle and McBrides War Raider, Fred Wyses Romanette and D. Djordjad-zes Nogador. Suffolk horsemen who saw Mogador finish second in a maiden race yesterday at the East Boston course have tabbed the colt as real comer. He broke swiftly but was badly shuffled back in the run to the turn and dropped to last place. He finally regained his stride in the stretch and closed with a tremendous rush to finish second. A bay son of the obscure sire, Cisneros, from the broodmare, Mission Play, Mogador is one of the most handsome colts to show in New England. He is a well molded, strong-looking individual. Fly away displayed brilliant speed in his Florida engagement and in his lone start at Suffolk Downs but won in a manner to suggest that he is better than ever. Andys Glory, another fleet Florida development, has been running in New York stakes but is back on New England soil and being pointed for the Nursery. Hash Night proved himself a good one in Florida, while Easy Al and War Raider have shown good speed at Suffolk. Others nominated for the Nursery are: Accountant Bain Egret Balaway Balladon Banish Beau Kiss Big Reward Boomerang Brother Ed Bullet Bill Buster Hope Cabbagetown Castle Mark Cathie Jean Cee Bee Sir Chaldson Dauntedld Eternal Lark Eucephalus Fighting Hard Fire Raider Gladys H.
