D. R. McDANIEL Sends L. J. Hollen-bachs Roi Rouge, winner of the Boots and Saddle Handicap, postward in todays Cadillac renewal at Detroit. Delawares Brandywine Draws Fifteen Routers Blue Yonder Will Be Topweight Upon Polynesians Withdrawal DELAWARE PARK, Stanton, Del., May 30. Things are definitely on the upswing here at Delaware Park. This stakes-studded meeting enters its third day tomorrow, with the Brandywine Handicap, mile and a sixteenth test for three-year-olds and upward, headlining a program which promises to lure a crowd fully as large and enthusiastic as that which witnessed todays holiday card. Fifteen horses have been named overnight for the Brandywine, the third 0,000 feature in as many afternoons at this plant. They are headed by Elmendorf Farms versatile Polynesian, who has been assigned top weight of 126 pounds by racing secretary J. Gilbert Haus. Mrs. Peter A. B. Wideners big horse will not answer the bugle, however. He was entered in the Brandywine as a precautionary measure by trainer Morris Dixon, who declared this morning that he would scratch his charge from todays Wilmington Handicap and run him tomorrow instead if the strip did not recover from the effects of last nights inclement weather. However, the course dried up sufficiently to permit the brown son of Unbreakable Black Polly to compete in todays sprint. With Polynesian on the sidelines, the starting highweight in the Brandywine will be Mrs. E. H. Augustus Blue Yonder, who must concede from one to 11 pounds to his opponents, and will be ridden by Albert Snider. Next in the line at the weights is Walter M. Jeffords Trymenow, with 115 pounds, who Wayne Wright will pilot. King Ranchs Flash Burn, to be ridden by Efrain Garza, is to carry 114 pounds. Other formidable aspirants for Brandywine honors are Art-Dale Stables Gorget, K. A. OConnors Statesman and Harry LaMontagnes Larky Day, each assigned 114 pounds; C. V. Whitneys Jeep, 113, and Mrs. R. H. Heighes improved Zax, 107 pounds. Cat Bridge, 111; Prefect and Black Swan, 107 each; Butler and He Rolls, 106 each, and Flying Weather, 105, complete the probable starting field.
