H. Bishop; bred by Arthur B. Hancock. WENT TO POST-5:20i. OFF AT 5:211 CENTRAL DAYLIGHT TIME. Start good from stall gate. Won driving; second and third the same. TAC0MA, in hand until reaching the stretch, responded to brisk handling in the drive and, after taking command, won going away. CORYDON, slow to begin and far back early, came gamely when set down for the stretch run, but could not menace the winner. SPECIALIZED, a sharp factor for three-quarters, weakened during the drive. WOODSMAN, never far back, reached the lead on the final turn, then tired. PURE BRIAR gave a good effort under strong handling. RANDOM BREEZE bumped BILLIES CHOICE on the first turn, moved up boldly when clear and failed to rally when hard ridden during the late stages. TOWN HALL could not threaten while racing in close quarters. ONE HOOK began fast, but could not keep up. DIXIE PEBBLE tired. MELLOW had early speed. GALA DAWN went to the front early, gave way badly after three furlongs and was eased in the stretch. Scratched 233243 War Atlas, 110; 23760 Gainer, 110.
