Illinois Notes LINCOLN FIELDS -AT-HAWTHORNE, Cicero, 111., May 30. Dave Shaw came up from Louisville with Tav, Whats Yours, Fifteenth, Sidney Sue and Beneelobe, the property of M. A. Waldheim. Three horses, property of Mrs. Sabina Cook, stabled at Lincoln Fields are to be shipped to River Downs. The Cook trio comprises Zeebeetee, Stockyard and Brown Vicar. Jockey A. Campbell will accompany the unit to the Queen City course. Thomas Patrick Fleming checked in with the western division of O. E. Breaults Bro-lite Farm stable and bedded the establishment down at Arlington Park. Included in the shipment were Burrwood, With Pleasure, Grey Town, Youll See, Good Story, Request, Colonel Lee, Brolite, Thomas, Deerfield, Orry, Tiger Boots, Ariel Belle, Julio, Strawberry Pie, Sir Blasker, Dideh and Ariel Pal. Ivan H. Parke, who conditions the Frederick W. Hooper Stable thoroughbreds, is commuting between Hawthorne and Arlington Park. A division of the Hooper unit is stabled at Arlington, while another section is quartered at the local oval. The two horses Parke purchased in South America for Hooper are still at Circle H Ranch, Montgomery, Ala. George Stempfels horses arrived from California and they are in charge of W. J. Kanatzer. Adrogue, Namesake and Lets Start made the trip from the West Coast. Paul Kelley will ship 15 horses to Arlington Park from Suffolk Downs, according to word from Duke Penter, who is looking after stall assignments at the North Side track. Anthony Zutopa has taken over the training of the Happy Hour Farm Stable, replacing R. A. Lewis, who recently resigned the post to take up another position. Jockey George South, who recently underwent a minor operation, is an arrival and expects to get back into the saddle before the close of the current Lincoln Fields meeting. B. B. Johnson, who was stricken ill during the Florida season, is on the road to complete recovery and will rest at his Chicago apartment for another month before resuming training activities.
