Doras Son Takes Up 121 Pounds in Omaha Feature AK-SAR-BEN, Omaha, Neb., May 30. Tomorrows card of eight events is one of the outstanding cards that will be offered during the current 30-day meeting. Racing secretary R. A. Leigh arranged the card to meet the condition of the track, which is still "off" owing to the rains and snow that visited the course during the past week. The feature event of the afternoon will be the His Majestys Council Handicap, a test of six furlongs for a purse of ,500. Despite the small field of six horses this event has promise of being a hard fought race from start to finish, as all those entered to compete possess speed and are good "off" track performers. Top weight of 121 pounds has been assigned Doras Son, which impost is eight more than any of her rivals will be required to pack. Doras Son has proven in the past that she likes the mud and has turned in some very good races. Of the others who will vie for honors in the main event, Prince Vito, appears to have the best chance for the major portion of the purse. Prilure, who will carry 113 pounds, also must be given a good chance in the small, but select field of sprinters. The field is rounded out by Just Beans, High Master and Kennock.
