KENAYR, a forward factor, rallied under late pressure and outfinished MAXIMONT. The latter moved with a rush on the final turn, assumed a short lead, then faltered. SPEEDEE BOZO, taken up sharply nearing the far turn, was sent to the outside and lost ground, but closed willingly. VALOR held on gamely under steady pressure. DOIT EASY weakened after forcing the pace. NEAT KEE was well placed throughout. SPEEDING HOME flattened out in the drive. TETRAFETTLE showed good speed to the final furlong. ACADEMIC was unable to reach the leaders when put to pressure ROSE HAIRAN flashed brief speed. JIMS JEANIE was outrun. BACCHANTE showed nothing. BOBBY E., quickest to begin, opened a commanding lead at once, saved ground to the final turn, then drifted out, but he had enough left to hold BOSS WELL safe. The latter moved in closest attendance of the pace after a quarter mile, continued to gain and just missed catching the leader. FUSILEER slipped through on the inside to close ground in the late stages. AMEN weakened after being forwardly placed. SWELL GUY broke slowly, then worked his way up on the extreme outside. ONCE MORE raced evenly. SKY CHILLA had no mishap. BURAN lacked early speed. SAND PIPER was outrun. DANDY GUY had brief speed. UPWARD BOUND had speed for a half mile. HEAD WOMAN quit. Start good from stall gate. Won driving; second and third the same. GAY GINO, steadied close to the leaders for a quarter mile, was sent up fast on the outside and into command when ready, withstood a long challenge from BOLO T4£ entering the stretch and outfinished the latter in a sustained drive. BOLO TIE was sent through on the inside to draw on even terms with the leader and continued on gamely, but was not good enough. GRIAN, a forward factor from the beginning, held on gamely. SUNSHADE showed good speed to set the early pace and held on tenaciously to the final furlong, then weakened. MASTER closed fast from far off the pace. FRENCH LURE had no mishap. CATHIE JEAN raced evenly. MOUNTAIN TIME showed nothing. MISS YAM was through early. YARMOUTH FLARE was never a prominent factor. DUBBLELL quit badly. HENRY BUSSE assumed command at once, raced close to the inner rail, withstood repeated challenges and outfinished LEFTY JIM. The latter moved in closest attendance of the pace soon after the start, was under steady urging during the final quarter s and just missed. BER MAR BOY, slow to get going, moved readily when put to pressure and closed gamely. HUSH MONEY drew abreast the leaders on the final turn, then shortened stride. BIDOJO had speed for a quarter. LITTLE CAPTAIN was unable to keep up. ROYAL LUCK dropped back soon after the start and trailed throughout. HENRY BUSSE pulled up lame. Scratched— Meddlesome, 115. FIFTH RACE 3-4 MILE out of chute. BEARING CLEAR, well placed on the outside, moved with a rush nearing the final turn, drew into a clear lead and won with speed in reserve. FRIENDLY FRANK, close up along the inside, continued on gamely, but was no match for the winner. ESTA VEZ finished with good energy while drifting out. PEERLESS forced the early pace, but weakened under late pressure. FANCY FESTIVAL was outrun. OFF AT 4:37 EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME. Start good from stall gate. Won driving; second and third the same. RABIES, steadied along on the inside and kept under restraint until able to secure racing room entering the lane, responded to steady urging, gained command inside the final sixteenth and drew out gradually. FLYING MILE, kept within striking distance of the leader to the final turn, came to the outside under pressure, assumed a short advantage, but was unable tc stave off the winners bid. LEAMOUR, outrun for six furlongs, made up ground along the inside, then swung to the outside to finish with good energy. GALLANT G. I. was under pressure to maintain a forward position. CURVACEOUS failed to respond to pressure. SILVERLING opened a commanding lead at once, held sway to the final turn, then weakened. MARCH CHICK was outrun. Overweight— Silverling, 4 pounds. WAR RIPPLE, slow to settle into best stride, worked his way up on the outside, responded to steady pressure to gain command and then outfinished QUATREFOIL. The latter, impeded at the start, recovered quickly, was kept within striking distance of the pace, rallied when roused and extended the winner. DIME was quickest to begin, swerved to the outside, impeding QUATREFOIL and forcing REWARD ALL to be taken up sharply, then was straightened and showed good speed throughout while holding on gamely. SEERSUCKER moved into contention after six furlongs, then appeared to hang. FLARES DURBAR was used up forcing the pace. REWARD ALL went evenly. TOM FERRIS was knocked back at the start and showed nothing thereafter. SHERRY D. set the pace for six furlongs, then quit. Overweight— War Ripple, 1 pound; Dime, 5. EIGHTH RACE 1 MILE AND 70 YARDS.
