Mr. Busher Working Well, Showing Rapid Improvement BELMONT PARK, Elmont, L. I., N. Y., May 12. — Baron dOsten, manager of Mrs. Elizabeth N. Grahams extensive Maine Chance Farm stable, said this morning that Mr. Busher is showing rapid improvement. The colt, who ranked second to Blue Peter in the Experimental Handicap, no longer "makes a noise" in the morning and the swelling in his nasal passages has completely disappeared. Mr. Busher went five furlongs in 1:04 this morning, but the trial was more pleasing than the time would indicate. On the other hand, Baron dOsten said, the stables crack filly, Myrtle Charm, who was rated the equal of Blue Peter by The Jockey Club handicapper John B. Campbell, will be given more time before being returned to training. The daughter of Alsab is at Leslie Combs II.s Spendthrift Farm in Kentucky and is not expected to be seen under silks until late fall, if at all this year. Royal Blood, Maine Chance Farms crack sprinter, also pleased his connections this morning when he worked much more kindly than usual. The son of Coldstream stepped six furlongs in 1:14% in handy style.
