Five Rulings Are Announced By Dufferin Park Stewards DUFFERIN PARK, Toronto, Ont., May 12. — The following rulings were made yesterday by the Dufferin Park stewards: "Trainer G. Rosita was fined 0 for entering the horse El Boosto in the seventh race for Wednesday, May 11th, for which he was not eligible. "Trainer W. L. Sayles was fined 0 for entering the horse Joey Bomber in the sixth race for Wednesday, May 11th, for which he was not eligible. After the second race today in which High Style, ridden by jockey D. Hux defeated the favorite Checkerboss, ridden by jockey L. Stroud, who claimed foul against the winner, claiming that his horse was interfered with at the turn into the home stretch, the stewards dismissed the claim and fined jockey Stroud 5 for making a frivolous charge against another rider. "Jockey C. Ulrick, whose mount Souris was disqualified and placed second to Goldie Wonder in the fourth race, after finishing in first place, was suspended for three racing days for failure to keep his horse straight in the run through the stretch. "For misbehavior and using profane language in the jockeys room today, May 11th, 1949, jockey J. Stewart was fined 5."
