Piatt Unit Due Sunday FAIR GROUNDS, Detroit, Mich., May 12. — Thomas Piatt, master of Brookdale Farm, Lexington, Kentucky, is to be represented at the Motor City course this season by a useful band of homebreds that are conditioned by J. Price Sallee, who has trained the Piatt thoroughbreds for 23 years. The Piatt unit is due from Churchill Downs on May 15. Dr. Edward Hagyards fleet three-year-old filly, Mona, winner of two Kentucky engagements, also is in the Sallee string and she will accompany the Piatt horses to the Fair Grounds.
