SKYDUE was allowed to settle into stride while within striking distance of the leaders, was strongly handled while lugging in, then responded to pressure through the stretch to wear down TACARO MILKMAN. NEW OXFORD drove through along the inside to reach contention early, saved ground rounding the turn and held on gamely. TELLANRUN closed some ground after being slow to respond. PAMLICO weakened steadily when unable to assume command. CONSPIRE lacked a menacing rally. ROY ELMO showed nothing. SIR RAM had speed along the backstretch and quit. DIABLILLO fenced fairly well while racing SILVER RUN into defeat and held a commanding advantage through the last half mile, winning easily. BRIDLE-SPUR raced within striking distance, but could not reach the top one. FONSILVER was hard ridden to catch tired horses. SILVER RUN could not attain the lead while fencing well early and tired badly. LADY JANICE was not a factor. ROLLIN LIGHT was always outrun. NICKIE C. gained a clear early lead under alert handling and was not threatened while going easily in the late stretch. ORTHOPEDIC showed speed to race in the runner-up position throughout. GERLEON rallied mildly to outfinish SNOW PASSES. The latter showed speed, but swerved badly when placed to pressure in the early stretch. HANDLE was in close quarters along the inside rounding the turn. GRAY BRAND raced evenly. COMIC LADY broke alertly, but could not keep up. The latter was not hurried when outrun by AUDIBLE, disposed of the latter and held on gamely in the drive. PROUD REWARD saved ground early, then drifted out through the stretch. AYAHS BOY rallied to the stretch and hung. AUDIBLE faltered after setting the early pace. TEMERU caught tired horses. FOUR EIGHTS showed nothing. IMPENETRABLE flattened out.
