Blackwell Hurls Cincinnati to 6-4 Win Over Phillies PHILADELPHIA, Pa., May 2 UP.— The Cincinnati Reds rapped Ken Heintzelman and Bob Miller for 12 hits and a 6-4 trite umph over the Philadelphia Phillies today behind the splendid eight-inning hurling of Ewell Blackwell. Blackwell hung up his third victory in five starts and lasted until he walked Dick Sisler to open the ninth. Frank Smith then relieved him and got the side out with one run.
