Lord Priam and Flaming Filet In Training for William Penn GARDEN STATE PARK, Camden, N. J., May 2.— Tom H. Heard, Jr., youthful Texas trainer, has a formidable stable campaigning at this point. He reports that out of the 20 head he has here in the interest of Syracuse, N. Y., owner G. F. Strickland and his father, T. H. Heard, Sr., a large number of his two-year-olds have been coughing, but are now coming along nicely and shcmld be completely recovered within another two weeks. Heard is particularly optimistic regarding the two-year-olds Lord Priam, a half-brother to Revoked and Alabama, and Flaming Filet, who is a half-brother to Blue Swords and Blue Steel. They have escaped the seige of coughing, but a,re just now being returned to training after having bucked their shins. Both are being readied to carry Stricklands silks in the 5,000 added William Penn Stakes, which will be run here on Saturday, May 19.
