FAIR MARK was steadied close to the pace, readily responded for the drive and closed determinedly on the outside to best DAVID N. The latter wrested command under pressure entering the stretch, continued gamely, but could not resist the winner. HEAD STREAM was under pressure while showing the most speed from the inside, then was not punished while tiring in the last stages. BRAGGADICI0, away slowly, bore out badly on the far turn, then closed with belated speed on the stretch turn. FALSELY was a forward factor in an even effort. NAVY ACE went in the air at the break and began poorly, was rushed into contention on the inside and tired. FLYING J. F. was forced wide on the turns. INDELIBLY quit early. REFLEXION, alertly hustled to be with the first flight, came through on the inside to wrest command entering the final furlong and drew out under pressure. DONNA BOORSE, in hand while settling in stride, steadily made up distance after three furlongs and finished willingly. DANA DEL was urged into a commanding early lead, held sway to the final furlong and quit suddenly. SWEET BUTTER lost distance racing on the outside and lacked a rally KIT BAG had early speed and faltered. PO GAL lugged in the drive. PRELMA worked way forwardly between horses, came through close quarters on the inside in the stretch run, then was up to best HARANGUE. The latter easily moved to the leaders on the outside entering the stretch, opened a clear lead and just failed to last. JOLISAM was brought wide for the drive and finished well. PRY PAT was hustled along in front for almost a half-mile, then faltered. LADY ADVOCATE began sluggishly. SIR SIDNEY quit. BLUE ROOM began very fast, but quit. LIKE HOVER was nicely steadied while in closest attendance to the pace, responded determinedly when urged for the drive and quickly disposed of SON OF JUDITH. The latter was under intermittent urging while setting the pace, readily gave way to the winner and was pulled up lame. WEST MILTON saved ground improving position under energetic urging and finished well. BUSY PAT lost ground outside horses. GALLALAD bore out on the turns. MOBILE BELLE was confidently reserved while closest to the pace, put away BLUE MIRAGE without difficulty in the early stretch and then was hustled to increase her advantage. BLUE MIRAGE was under heavy pressure to outsprint the winner, lugged in while tiring and just lasted to best MELODIC. The latter, unable to get up early, was closing determinedly when caught next to the rail inside BLUE MIRAGE midway in the stretch and had to take back, then came again to finish gamely. OFF AT 4:34 EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME. Start good from stall gate. Won driving; second and third the same. CROWN ME saved ground while a sharp contender from the start, drifted out slightly unoer steady handling and gradually gained over RISK A WHIRL. The latter readily moved to the front when shaken up on the final turn, could not draw clear and was gradually carried out by the winner in the last stages. CLEAN BROOM was occasionally taken in hsnd while a keen factor on the inside, then failed to respond for the final run. DIRECTOIRE came between horses to make up distance in the stretch run. GOLDEN BULL weakened gradually. REVEILLE, in hand for a half mile, made a bold bid on the turns and faltered. APACH ICO was outrun and lacked clear racing room in the drive. THIRTY LOVE was kept well out in the track and tired. CONVIDADO, blocked trying to join the leaders from the inside at the start, showed a dull effort. Overweight— Quemadito, 2 pounds. CER VANTES, under light pressure steadily improving position, was blocked and taken up sharply at the head of the stretch, came outsioe the leaders for the drive and then quickly drew away under pressure. KING MIDAS, steadied when unable to reach the front, gained a short lead when urged for the drive, but then was no match for the winner. SAND RUN was a keen factor for six furlongs and weakened. MYRMIDON had the early speed and held on well into the stretch, then faltered. TEDDY TARN was well placed, but lacked a rally. PENDANT was outrun. BROWN MOAT tired. BOLD WARRIOR, well rated and showing speed from the beginning, willingly drew out when shaken up at the head of the stretch and won handily DAYROUND gained a forward placing on the outside early, was steadied until the final turn and appeared very dangerous, but failed to rally when put to pressure. SANTAS VIXEN raced with the first flight under alert handling and held on well in the drive. EMPUJON raced in the clear while off the pace, then could not get up when urged. LATE SHIP lugged in in the drive, but finished well. LET ME THRU came from far back SHADOW SHOT appeared sore in the post parade and showed nothing. TOWNHOUSE drifted out and faltered. BOMBCASE quit.
