Terms of the deal were not an- nounced, but it was believed the Into dians paid slightly more than the 0,000 waiver price for the 25-year-old eurve-baller. Harris was with the Athletics in 1948-49, winning a total of six games and losing three. He posted an 8-14 record with Buffalo in the Interna-to- tional League last season, Manager Al Lopez said he expected Harris to be a "useful relief pitcher."
