Trough Hill Seriously Injured PIMLICO, Baltimore, Md.. May 2.— Mrs. Stephen C. Clarks Trough Hill, voted the countrys outstanding steeplechase horse during 1949, and a leading member of that division for the past several years, was seriously injured in a training mishap over the Pimlico course this morning. The nine-year-old Tourist II. gelding was being ridden by Tommy Field in his prep for the Jervis Spencer when the injury occurred. The extent of the injury, which was in behind, has not yet been determined, but trainer Jack Skinner immediately had X-rays taken. During his career, Trough Hill has earned in excess of 00,000.
