Itll be the first day of the Buckeye ye racing season, marking the start of Ohios 194-day season as well as Beulahs 20-day ay meeting. ] Indications are that no less than 50 50 | saddlesmiths will ply their trade at the he , Grove City course. In addition to Rivera, such outstanding jockeys as Howard Craig, ! the riding champ at Beulah Park last ist spring; Budd Mills, who formerly handled ed the saddle duties for Hirsch Jacobs in New York, and Donald Pinkstaff and Jim Dob-ng D" son, both talented reinsmen, already are on deck. The "find" of the impending meeting, lg however, may be an unknown youngster — such as Sam Burnett of Memphis, Tenn. n- Burnett is under contract to Tom Jolley, 2j who has shipped his stable to Grove City lty from Keeneland.
