King Clovers Participation In Coming Stakes Undecided GARDEN STATE PARK, Camden, N. J., May 9. — Cary C. Boshamers King Clover, who finished thirteenth in last Saturdays running of the seventy-seventh Kentucky Derby, and previously finished second, but was disqualified and placed third, in the Derby trial, checked in at Garden State Park Monday morning. Trainer E. H. Gaines, well pleased with his condition, entered him in a race here today, but the event did not fill. The Isolater colt is not eligible for the Preakness, but he is nominated to both the Belmont Stakes and the Jersey Stakes. Gaines did not indicate whether King Clover would be started in either of these fixtures, but confided that he would run him whenever and wherever he could, as long as he retains his form.
