Y., May 9.— In recognition of their outstanding work for the Boys Club of Hot Springs, Ark., during the Oak-lawn meet, Robert C. Patterson, currently assistant mutuels manager for the New York Racing Association, and Andrew G. Jerry, cashier, have been designated as the representatives to the annual National Boys Club convention now being held in New York. The climax of the convention will be a dinner at the Hotel Commodore Thursday evening. Both Patterson and Jerry have indicated they will be present to represent the Hot Springs Boys Club. Herbert Hoover will preside at the dinner with Bernard Baruch the guest speaker. The selection of Patterson and Jerry is tribute to the entire racing fraternity who are always ready to serve and further activities for both civil and charitable institutions.
