LUTZA finished determinedly when placed to punishment, but could not seriously endanger the top one. FASHIONED held sway for five furlongs, then faltered. AIR COMMANDER closed with his usual belated rally. LITTLE GER0M0 had no mishap. ROSILY was unable to keep up. SMART EVE was on the outside throughout most of the journey. COURTS MAUDE outsprinted her rivals into the initial turn, held a clear lead when settled for the drive and, though drifting out while tiring during the late stages, had enough left to prevail over AIR TIME. The latter respondecTwillingly when set down for the drive and closed resolutely. BEE GIRL was unable to improve her position when hard ridden through the late stages. ALS PLAY raced evenly through the stretch without mishap. FLORAL TRAIL broke to the Inside, failed to gain the lead and tired. SAX BEE quit. FRANK BANDEL saved ground to no avail. C0MITE LAD was impeded by FLORAL TRAIL leaving the gate and failed to recover. TIMUS moved up boldly on the outside entering the stretch, but lacked a convincing rally. CLICKABLE responded to left-handed punishment during the stretch run and closed with good courage. BEST ARRAY closed a gap. SHATTERED tired. PHYLIS had no excuse. RESUME was through early. WHACKER PRIDE quit. JOHNNY ACRES tried to drift out on every turn. REPARTEE slipped through next to the inside rail on the far turn, weakened during the drive, but easily was best of the others. CLIMBER rallied too late to seriously endanger the leaders. ETERNAL FLIRT was much used early and had little left MISS ARRAY, forced to take up when in close quarters on the far turn, failed to recover. GALLAHAD BESS failed to stay. ORCHESTRAL lacked speed. TACONY made the pace to the stretch under clever rating and, in a long drive, gamely withstood THE BLUE HEN. The latter came out for the drive, appeared to be the winner midway in the final furlong, but was unabk; to be persevered with while lugging in during the late stages. MAE AGNES finished determinedly and seems ready for a good route effort. J0YANT showed early speed, but failed to respond for the drive. ROMAN ROAD tired. OVER NIGHT was unable to keep up. PHANTOM SEA quickly sprinted into a commanding lead, tired slightly during the final furlong, but under brisk urging lasted over HYPOSTYLE. The latter came out for the drive and steadily was wearing down the winner. BELC0N had little left when placed to the drive and could not seriously menace the leaders. MARKET TIP was forced to take up sharply when in close quarters before going three furlongs and failed to recover. ILLUSTRATE failed to attain the lead and tired. IDA C. was never formidable. FLETTER came out for the drive, but was not good enough. ROADRUNNER engaged the winner to the stretch, then faltered. STEEPLE JACK closed a gap. YARDT0WN retired steadily from a rapid start. THIRD SPIN made the pace for six furlongs while saving ground, gave way momentarily to DEVILISH LAD entering the stretch, came again near the finish and drew clear. DEVILISH LAD moved up on the outside to reach the lead nearing the furlong marker, then weakened. CHALLEPORT, slow to begin, worked her way forward on the outside to enter serious contention entering the stretch, then tired. ARISTOCRAT was unable to keep up NOLA had no mishap.
