BARBAREBA was energetically hustled in close attendance to the pace, reached the front inside the final furlong and finished determinedly. GLORIOUS EMMA was alertly sent to the front at the begininng, then weakened only slightly in the final drive. SPECIAL NURSE saved ground and closed gamely in the last stages. PALS DREAM, a sharp factor, was dropped down next to the rail on the final turn, finished determinedly, but was not good enough. PORTO BELLO was alertly sent into a long early lead, held sway into the final furlong and then was visibly tiring. WANT A BEAU was outrun, as usual, but finished well to best the others. DR.
