Palatial Appetite Irish-Bred MONMOUTH PARK, Oceanport, N. J., June 23. — Many Monmouth Park racing fans were interested as Palatial Appetite scored a victory in the eighth race Friday, because the horse defied American racing rules which specify that no horse carry more than 14 letters or spaces to its name. However, Palatial Appetite, a son of his Highness — Kitchenette, was foaled in Ireland where no such nomencature barriers exist. In Australia, where bars are likewise let down, one horse carries the name of Neurasthenipponskelesterizo so maybe the American rule has its merits.
