The veteran reinsman 0 will ride free lance during the remainder of the Arlington season, s, , Jess Higley will return to his saddle 5 duties Monday following a 30-day suspension. During his idleness Higley continued to gallop horses for the Calumet Farm, and it is expected that he wil be named to ride several of the Calumet performers in their Arlington engagements. Jack A. Chambers, owner of several 1 1 horses stabled at the local course under B the supervision of Amadee Jeanfreau, came j in from his Memphis home. Chambers will by iy remain for several days before returning to the volunteer state. J- Mr. and Mrs. Allie E. Reuben, owners of the Hasty House Farm, motored in from ! their home at Toledo, Ohio, and were in 1 attendance for Saturdays running of the Equipoise Mile. The Reubens were expected to return to the Buckeye State over the week-end. ;e Cecil Locklear announced that jockey J i Harold Keene has been engaged to handle 0 the two-year-old Red Romeo in the Hyde j Park Stakes. Locklear recently arrived h upon the local scene with the youngster, [who is owned by C. E. Buckley.
