PALATIAL APPETITE did not suffer when bumped by GOOD STORY on the first turn and went smoothly to the front at the half mile, easily widened on the field and won with something in reserve. LUXURIANT steadily made up distance from a slow start and finished willingly. MONMOUTH reached closer contention under pressure, faltered near the end and pulled up very lame. SLAMMURING was a sharp factor for a half mile, then drifted out and tired. HALCONERO saved ground. SINGING SWORD was outrun. GOOD STORY quit. SECURITY raced extremely wide Attendance, 8,276; Total Mutuel Pool, 56,074.
