GAMBLER — Sometimes erratic racer is in excellent form now and should continue to show good efforts. STEPCHILD — This half-brother to Always Home was overlooked in his maiden victory. He should not be too lightly re- garded again. BLUE RHYMER — Two-year-old daughter of The Rhymer equaled the five -furlong track record set by Lord Putnam last year, while under restraint that had her neck bowed. Suggest they will have trouble beating her here. 1 ROSE POLL— This on just needs a bit more racing to hone her weight down, and she might come through with a surprise. ADONIS — Plater is especially fond of the grass course, and may soon show sharp improvement. Began poorly in his last and it must be disregarded. FAIRMOUNT PARK ALL BUSINESS — One of the cheaper middle distance runners here, but recent races indicate she is ready for a top effort. An "off" track should prove helpful. INKY DINK— This clever three-year-old was much used engaging Capt. Doumani in the early going of last effort. Should handle a good band of sophomores in next attempt. VALDINA STROKE— Lost most of his chances by being crowded in early going last time out. Has won at this meeting and should earn his second purse in next trip postward. BILL GREEN— Should benefit from his ; initial outing at this meeting. Closed well . in that attempt and is capable of handling a good grade of three-year-olds. WISHMEWELL — Displayed her usual early speed in only outing here and that outing should prove beneficial to her. Tab i next time. SEDGEDOT— A three-year-old that raced I with the leader to the stretch turn in his first outing here. Lost all chance by • racing extremely wide entering the I stretch. Should handle a cheap group t next outing. TEAPOY — One of the better grade sprinters here. Clockers report he is retaining ; his sharp edge as indicated in recent ; work. FRANK BANDEL — Ignore this racers last ; outing when competing on muddy strip. Encountered trouble in early going and showed a dislike for the track condition. . GOLD CHIMES— Gave a good effort when defeated by Thunder Hoof in last outing. Should handle a cheap band of sprinters next outing. BLACK LARKSPUR— Mud helps this son of Kings Blue greatly. Has scored twice here and appears capable of garnering another purse without too much difficulty. WELSH MAN— Came to life in last effort when sent six furlongs. Should he perform back to that effort, will be able to handle a cheap field if sent a longer route. JUSTACORD — This juvenile from the J. C. Ellis stable had little difficulty in turning back a field of the better grade youngsters in last outing. Appeared good enough to come right back. OMAHA LITTLE FLOWER — Had little chance last out; was shut off when making her move in the stretch. THE CLAN— Has a touch of class, and last race shows he is ready for winning effort. PETES PRBDE — Tired slightly last out when finishing fourth. Should be hard to beat if not overmatched. REDDY BOY — Showed a much improved effort while racing with the best horses here in last outing and should take down an allowance affair in the near future. JESSIE RAE — Opened a long lead and stopped last out. Could prove a winner when matched with Nebraska-bred company. STALKY — Did five-eighths mile in 1:01 handily in morning trial, and appears ready for a winning effort. SON TEX— Is ready for best effort; can sprint or go a distance. FEARLESS KEN — Recent races shows he is ready for a winning performance. EASY BURNER — Has trained in splendid fashion and should prove a winner if not pitted too high. BROTHER ED — Should improve off last race; can handle same field with better racing luck. LUCKY LASS — Should find some non-winners at this meeting that she can beat in ,000 company at a mile or over. U WILL — Maiden two-year-old, ran to outside fence and finished second in first outing here. Will prove hard to beat in maiden race.
