Trophies to Drivers of Winners With Fastest Times at Hilliards COLUMBUS, Ohio, June 25. — George H. Reverman, Columbus sportsman and mutuel department manager at Hilliards Raceway, today announced that he plans to present trophies to the drivers of the two horses — pacing and trotting -L- that hang up the fastest miles at the current Hilliards night meeting. The trophy going to the driver of the horse pacing the fastest mile will be presented by Reverman on behalf of the Little Brown Jug, the nations top pacing event. The reinsman of the horse trotting the fastest mile will be given a trophy on behalf of Hilliards Raceway. To date, the fastest mile paced is Courts Jesters 2:05%, while the fastest mile trotted is Hillcrest Attorneys 2:07%. The Hilliards meeting closes July 19.
