J 1 i i £ s a i t i i e c Carl Maiello Shaken Up DELAWARE PARK, Stanton, Del., June 25. — Carl Maiello, an exercise boy employed by trainer Joe Serio, Jr., was badly shaken up this morning in a training mishap and was sent to Delaware Hospital for x-rayt and further examination, given by breeders of central Kentucky and check for ,000 from Maryland breeders He also stated that Virginia breeders had been generous in subscribing to the 0 pel mare plan, but reminded that there was still a need for funds to carry on the project for three years. W. T. Bishop, president of the Thoroughbred Club, presided.
