Two More Linemen Sign Contracts With Packers GREEN BAY, Wis., June 20 UP.— The Green Bay Packers announced today the signing of two husky linemen who could help strengthen the Packers line for the 1953 season. Veteran Dave Stephenson, who played with the Los Angeles Rams in 1950 and joined the Packers in 1951, was one of those signed. He starred at the University of West Virginia before joining the pro ranks. Coach Gene Ronzani also announced rookie tackle Howard Routt of Loyola Los Angeles had come to terms to bring the total number of players signed to 43.
