Nominations for Michigan HBPA Division Announced DETROIT RACE COURSE, Livonia, Mich., June 20. — At a general meeting of the Michigan division, of the Horsemens Benevolent and Protective Association, the following members were nominated as candidates for office for the 1953-1954 racing season: Executive Committee owners only — Glenn Wilson. Dr. I. H. Steinberg, T. McDermott, Arthur Rose, Charles White, James Collins, T. A. G r i s s o m, Leo Hertsberg, E. Grosf ield, Joseph Mallia, Mrs. Grace Kosiba, Mark Leach. Executive Committee, owner-trainers — Charles Kranz, William Bridge, Henry Forrest, William Zakoor, George White, Harold Hoffman, Frank Grand, Pat Mitchell, Ray Grundy, Stanley Greene, Henry Johnston. The election will be held Thursday, June 25 in the racing secretarys office in the Detroit Race Course. Polls will be open from 9 a. m. to 5 p. m.
