Buii Barred From Monmouth Racing After Savage Attack MONMOUTH PARK, Oceanport, N. J., June 20. — The horse, Bull, was barred from further racing at this course today because he had lived up to his own name, and that of his sire, Bull Dog, during the running of the eighth race yesterday. The big seven-year-old stallion sauntered into the unsaddling ring shaking his head like a dog worrying a bone, and with his jaws firmly clamped in bull dog style on a portion of the stirrup which he had bitten off while attempting to savage Four No trump entering the last sixteenth mile of the event. To the surprise of his jockey, Robert L. Stevenson, and the utter amazement of Sam Boulmetis, astride Four Notrump, the John L. McKnight-owned racer viciously grabbed over at Four Notrump and with one powerful bite, severed the aluminum metal of Boulmetis right stirrup. After realizing what had happened, Boulmetis looked down at his foot and remarked that he was glad the stirrup had met Bulls teeth first or he would now be nicknamed "Stumpy."
