Won driving; second and third the same: FINCHHAVEN forced the early pace while in hand, saved ground to the stretch turn, was eased out for the drive and, after wearing down CARROUSEL, had enough left to hold TAUNTING BEAU safe. The latter, held in reserve early, came to the outside to make his bid on leaving the backstretch and was clearly best of the others. MARACABO had no apparent excuse in an even effort. SUSANS PET made up some ground, but could not threaten the top trio. CARROUSEL tired from his early effort. BUZZ A BIT was always far back. FIRST ONE was through early. The latter, a forward factor from the start, raced along the inner rail and held on stubbornly. LITTLE PHARO, never far back, was bumped off stride on entering the stretch and, when straightened away, finished with good courage. SAILORVILLE raced slightly wide in an even effort. AIR CHECK was never a serious factor. LITTLE DILL swerved out while racing along the inside and, in a contending position on entering the stretch, bumped LITTLE PHARO. SHINY PETER found his best stride too late. FUENTE faltered after making a bold bid from the inside on entering the stretch. BATTLE MOUNT moved up menacingly on the outside rounding the second turn but had little left when the real .test came. QUARTER-MASTER was never a factor. SARA-CHANA showed some early foot. SKY FAITH, forced to steady while blocked along the inside for the first half mile, moved out between horses on leaving the backstretch, continued in that position when called upon entering the stretch and wore down the leaders with a rush a furlong away. CONDAMION, slow to start, raced wide while advancing and appeared to hang slightly in the final drive. FIFE AND DRUM faltered after making a menacing rally on the second turn. CHARLESTON flattened out after being hard used early to wear down the leaders. PINETUM was always far back. MI-MARIGOLD was used up in vying for the early lead. GALHAM tired from his early effort. MELPET saved ground and faltered in the late stages. FLAMENCO II. flattened out after making a strong bid on the stretch turn. JETFAST. pulled up lame. RANGE CARDINAL was used up in vying for the early le"ad. ONWARD showed speed for six furlongs and tired. DRIVING EASY refused at the start and unseated her rider.
