ALA PAM lunged at the start and stumbled, was far back in the early stages, came through on the inside when gaining best stride and disposed of the leaders. RING FLEET was prominent from the start, went into a clear .lead when SPEEDY JET weakened in the stretch and could not withstand the top one. FAR SAIL was forwardly placed and had no mishap. WEE MOON vied for command from the start and could not resist the winner but lasted best of the others. ROBERTA-WIN came between horses to threaten mildly in the stretch and lacked a closing rally. COME ON RUBY was within striking distance and faltered. GIFTED BOOTS weakened through the drive. NAHEEM swerved and veered in sharply through the stretch. REVENGER was outrun. GREAT FUN trailed early, came through on the inside with a rush to threaten boldly in the stretch and just failed. WAR DAUBER lacked early speed, swung wide for the stretch and was gradually making up ground. HOUCKS MILL pressed the pace early and tired. DATELINE was outrun. BOY GENIUS , tired badly. SOLAR LAD was on nearly even terms for command on the final turn and tired. ROSEBOROUGH was never a serious threat. ROUGH COOKIE showed nothing.
