Ohio Commission to Hold Hearing on Rules Changes COLUMBUS, Ohio, June 14.— The State Racing Commission is making preparations for a public hearing on .proposed changes in the rules governing the sport in Ohio. A definite date for the hearing has not yet been set but it probably will be Held sometime in August. Among the matters that the Commission will consider will be the broadening of licensing powers for track personnel andjilso a ninth race on Wednesdays ■, at running race courses. Meanwhile the Senate State Government Committee in the Ohio Legislature itself has recommended a bill to revise the Commission rules. The State Government Committee has recommended an increase in license fees and also would alter the provisions governing, the suspension and revocation of licenses. . The bill is now before the Rules, Committee for assignment for a vote in the Senate.
