Brayes Land Promising Hurler MILWAUKEE, Wis., June 14 UP.— The Milwaukee Braves announced today they had signed 17-year-old Bob Hartman, sensational high school piticher from Kenosha, Wis., for their Toledo club., Hartman, recently graduated from high school, pitches left handed and bats right handed. In two and one-rialf years of high school and semi-pro ball he won 48 and lost 10. The Braves said 14 other major league clubs tried to sign Hartman.
