New York Notes AQUEDUCT, L. I., N. Y., June 14. The jockey colony placed the stamp of approval on the remodeled facilities at Aqueduct. Twelve new showers, toilet facilities and a pair of steam rooms have been added. The riders lost little time in taking advantage of the steam rooms, several of them showing up Sunday to try and sweat off and few pounds. Aqueduct has placed the major jumping events on a new basis this year, making all the former stakes overnight events.
