1 NEW YORK TURF NOTES I Clyde Phillips arrived at Belmont Park Wednesday with eleven horses owned by W. R. Coe. Ladysman, runner-up to Azucar in the Santa Anita Handicap, headed the list. Stake blanks for the Saratoga Stakes were distributed Tuesday by Frank J. Bryan. The stakes to be run are Saratoga Steeplechase Handicap, North American Steeplechase Handicap, Beverwyck Steeplechase Handicap, and the Shillelah Steeplechase. John Hay Whitney and George H. Bull arrived from England Tuesday. Mr. Whitney owns Thomond II., which finished third in the Grand National. Mr. Bull was leader of the American cheering and rooting section. Thisaway, owned by the Wheatley Stable, was shipped to Havre de Grace Tuesday, and turned over to George Tappen to train. Winston D owned by Mrs. Mina Sherman, got the better of his rider Tuesday morning at Aqueduct and. ran away one and one-half miles. Jockey Silvio Coucci will leave for Havre de Grace Saturday morning, where he will ride Plat Eye in the Chesapeake Stakes,
