The latter moved through along the inside to attain command after a half mile, drew clear on the final turn and weakened in the late stages. THE SLIP moved menacingly nearing the stretch and lacked further response. WAC rallied mildly. WINGING ALONG gave way. STAY WELL was through early. MISS DIRECT quit.
