Start good for all but MISS ELLARAY. Won driving; second and third the same. CHERRY BULL, well placed from the start, settled in the stretch with i. clear lead, but was briskly ridden thereafter to increase his advantage. TIGER TRIP went to the front early, raced with CHERRY BULL to the stretch, was unable to stay with the winner, but was easily best of the others. CHALLENGE WITT lacked early speed, but finished fairly well under brisk urging. FIRST GREEK raced well to the final furlong, then faltered. B0N-,RU-MAR had no excuse. ACE BOUT, forced to take up when caught in close quarters after the start, was unable to reach serious contention after the mishap. MARY GODFREY had early speed, but failed to stay. EASTER DANDY could not keep up. GRAVEL BIN lacked early speed. CROWN WINNER was never dangerous. HIMO.MYHEARTY tired. MISS ELLARAY began poorly, losing all chance. CLOWNESS, never far back, steadily worked way forward to the stretch, disposed of ALPHAS CHOICE and won going away. WAR DOLLAR, sent between horses during the drive, could not reach the winner. ALPHAS CHOICE, a sharp factor from the start, took a short lead during the stretch run, then faltered when challenged by CLOWNESS. CAPRICORNIO lacked early speed, but closed fast under brisk handling. ROVING KIND failed to rally when set down in the drive. BIG DANCE took command soon after the start, set the pace to the stretch while engaging ALPHAS CHOICE, but had nothing left for the drive. BAMBOOZLER was never prominent and raced wide. MARY LIKE was through early. FAST BREAK showed nothing. TECHE BEL tired after racing well to the stretch. ALLAH-VHY was never a serious contender. ARPEGE began alertly, but steadily lost ground after the start. TOUCHDOWN, well placed from the start, drifted to the outside nearing the stretch, settled for the drive with a good lead, but was hard ridden to withstand TALO MOR. The latter, a sharp factor from the start, closed gamely under punishment, was unable to overtake the winner, but easily bested the others.. CORNER GIRL gave a good effort and had no excuse. PEEKIN made a mild bid in the early stretch, then faltered. SHARP MISS began alertly, but dropped far back soon after the start. CARACAS KID was never prominent. WATSEKA showed nothjng. PSYCHIC DREAM took command at once, entered the stretch with a good lead, but was hard ridden during the drive to withstand TALION. The latter, well placed from the beginning,, finished strongly in the middle of the track, but could not overtake the top one, although much the best of the others. FIRST STAR was unable to threaten the leaders when set down through the stretch. BARGAINER was never dangerous and had no mishap. VICKl DIANA tired after showing, early speed.
