STORM JET went to the front at once, and rated while making the pace, had enough left to hold TOP GUY. The latter closed up steadily in the stretch and was gaining slowly at the finish. FLASHY FELLOW made a fair move nearing the stretch turn, and while unable to threaten for the leadership, went steadily to the finish. ROSY FLO lost ground in racing wide in the stretch. LAST LOOKOUT failed to offer a serious threat. Start good for all but FAST CHICK. Won easily. BLUE SAFARI moved up strongly next to the rail around the far turn to reach second place, then came to the outside of HY-SKEETER on the stretch turn and though swinging wide on the turn, got to the front entering the laft sixteenth to win easily. HY-SKEETER got to the front early to open up a good lead and saved ground thereafter. FAST CHICK stumbled at the start, then moved up on the backstretch only to lose ground on the stretch turn, but finished well to get a dead-heat for third place with MR. DAN L. The latter had early foot but weakened. ELLWOOD had some early speed. The others-were not dangerous. - FOURTH RACE 6 1-2 FURLONGS out of chute. RED PERFUME made a strong move nearing the stretch turn, and coming to the middle of the track for the run home, had little trouble passing the early leaders. BIRCH raced slightly in advance of TWO RAINBOWS all the way and bested the latter in the drive. TWO RAINBOWS went steadily °H of BIRCH lhrou9hout, MONTELLO was going well at the finish. HERBIE PAT was badly outrun. JALBOPATE was wide on the backstretch and failed to offer a threat. MOWLEESHA was in tight quarters right after the start and required to take up. .
