C. V. WHITNEY LEADING OWNER ♦_ _ New York Sportsmans Horses Win 7,150 at Havre Meeting. ♦ Fall Apple Heads List of Money Winning Horses With 3,850— A. Robertson Leads the Riding Brigade. • The winning owners at the Havre de Grace meeting of twelve days, from April 13 to April 25, shared a total of 57,850 between them, a daily average distribution of 3,154.17. Eighty-four races were decided during the meeting. The Whitney horses, much in evidence throughout the meeting, scoring in four races besides earning second and third money in other races, won a total of 7,150 for their owner. Willis Sharpj Kilmer, Binghamton, N. Y., sportsman, also enjoyed considerable success in the line of money winning, his horses earning 2,200. The Greentree Stable finished with earnings of 1,325. fifty dollars less than the sum credited to the Sagamore Stable. Fall Apple headed the list of money winning horses. His victory in the Aberdeen Stakes, worth 3,850, represented by far the greater part of the sum credited to C. V. Whitney. Anchors Aweigh topped Sun Beau by 50. the Greentree colt winning 0,950. while Sun Beau won 0,300. A. Robertson was easily the leader among the riders who took part in the meeting. His total of fifteen victorious mounts was double that of his nearest rivals, D. Meade and C. Kurtsinger, who rode seven winners each. W. F. Mulholland, who saddled five winners, topped the new Kilmer trainer, Andy Schuttinger, by one winner, the latter saddling four for his employer.
