f BEULAH PARK TURF NOTES f e e COLUMBUS, Ohio, May 1. Mr. Moon savaged another horse in his last race at Beulah Park, and the officials are considering the advisability of having the horse race in a muzzle hereafter. He was jumped upon during that race and suffered injuries which will prevent his running for the next week or ten days. When jockey A. G. Sullivan piloted McKim to victory in the last race here Wednesday, it marked his initial success in the saddle and the fifth rider to score his maiden victory during the four days of the meeting. This is rather a unique record. Judge John T. Ireland reports the arrival of six foals at his Woodvale Farm, at Paris, Ky., already this spring, and four mares are yet to foal. The foals include a brown filly by Noah — Flitting Miss, a bay colt by Black Servant, a bay colt by High Time — Myrtle V., a chestnut filly by North Star III. — Moon Winks, a bay filly by Sweep On — Engadine. All are living but a bay colt by Angon — Flara, which died after foaling* February 14. Judge Ireland will send six yearlings to the Saratoga sales in August, two colts by An-gov and Black Servant. The four fillies are daughters of North Star III. — Ladkin, Angon and Flittergold. •
