JAMAICA TURF NOTES e 1 NEW YORK, N. Y., May 1. Following Morstones smashing effort in his maiden race at Jamaica there developed such support for the colt that commissioner T. J. Shaw was forced to cut the Derby price from his original quotation of 100, to 50 to 1. Dr. F. W. Ashe, one of the official family at Havana, was an arrival from that point en route to Chicago, where he will officiate this summer.
