H. M. WOOLFS BIG STABLE Lady Broadcast and Other Stars to Be Raced at Washington Park Meeting. T. C. Warden has gone to Louisville to attend the opening of Churchill Downs racing season, and arrange details in connection with campaigning the stable of H. M. Woolf. Kansas City sportsman, at Washington Parks thirty-day meeting, beginning May 25. The Woolf band includes such sterling performers as Lady Broadcast, Hornpipe. Best Man, Miss Onine, Uncle Henry. Porternesia, also the two-year-olds Tail Wind. Silk Gown, Green Leaf. Quetor, Bas dOr. Marmitina, Derna Dear. Pandis, Miss Boots, Straightaway, Transmission, Stage Maid and Pennant Bearer. Danny Stuart will be in charge of the ..main division. John Read will have charge of a string to be raced on tracks other than in Chicago. He will have Fleche DArgent, Dark Sea. Dan Burnham and a few younger horses. Mr. Woiden. in the role of agent, will represent Mr. Woolf in Chicago. He statod that the plan of this stable is to expand in number and class. This stable has Lady Broadcast, Best Man. Hornpipe and Porternesia in the Washing ton Park Inaugural Handicap, an event at six furlongs, which closed with 94 nominations. The same entries are included in the Francis S. Peabody Memorial Handicap, likewise the Robert M. Sweitzer Handicrt;;. The Woolf candidates in the Illinois Oaks are Marmitina and Pandis. Those in the Debutante Stakes are Pennant Bearer, Straightaway, Quetor, Transmission and Bas dOr.
