WASHINGTON PARK NOTES 4 , . 0 Two apprentice boys were given their first opportunities at Washington Park, Theodore Dickinson riding Prophetic in the first" race and Merle Marcey handling Lee Laffoon in the second race Friday." Dickinson is 19 years old and is from Guthrie, Ky. He is under contract to the Rosedale Stable. Marceys home is in Scbttsville, Kan., and he is employed by Woodward and Smith". Trainer R. E. Potts arrived from Detroit to saddle the Bomar Stables Grand Slam; in the Prairie State Stakes here Saturday. Eddie Legere came with him to ride the colt, and they will return to Detroit Saturday night. William C. and The Heathen, owned by Mrs. Edward Haughton, will be vanned to Bainbridge Park Saturday in charge of R. Scully. . W. Causey has been appointed agent of the stable trained by Edward Haughton, and he will look after the engagements of the promising apprentice, E. de Perini, who is under contract to Mrs. Floyd West, one of Haughtons patrons. J. Rakickas vanned Style Corner, Black Fool and Pollys Folly from Aurora to Lincoln Fields. Technocrat, owned by B. Smith and M. G. White and trained by the former, also was transferred to the Crete course from Aurora. Joseph Nelson, who served as starter at Alamo Downs, is here for a weeks visit before reporting to Harry Morrissey, starter at Narragansett Park. E. E. Keller arrived at Lincoln Fields from Tanforan with Ogee, Anapola and Howden, the latter a two-ry car-old.
