1 BAINBRIDGE PARK NOTES " s 4 General manager Thomas McGinty returned from Columbus where he was sue-, cessful in securing additional horses for the local meeting. He reported approxi- -mately 100 horses moving north to Bain-bridge from Beulah Park over the week-, end. S. D. Hudson, with five, and Coleman Roy and Lawrence Boland, with one each, arrived from Beulah Park Saturday morning. As a conveniece to both horsemen and riders, the stewards permitted the waiving of the apprentice allowance which had been claimed for seven horses among Saturdays contestants. A shortage of light riders prevails here. Two colts among the five finely bred yearlings J. T. Ireland sold to Joseph Cattarinich are from consistent producers of winners, Myrtle "V., dam of the colt by Misstep, being the dam of the Raceland Derby winner, Malcolmn B. Jr., and five other winners, while Moon Winks, whose colt by Mirafel was included in the lot, mothered Bobby Buxton, Full Up and Lady Moon. The Quinella, a one-two or two-one play, will only be sold on the closing race here when eight or more start. The Victorian three-year-old, Moratorium, which equalled the Bainbridge Park track record of 1:05 for five and a half furlongs, which he won here under B. Hernandez colors, will be pointed for the ,000 added Ohio Derby to be renewed on the closing day of the meeting. He was among four winners from the Hernandez barn and one of apprentice Leonard Turners five winning mounts as the meeting opened.
