CARYLDON, fractious at the post, was forced wide in the early stages, but closed stoutly. BUBBLING OUT, always well bp, tired at the end. HARDY BAN made up some ground. The latter, well up from the beginning, came to the inside in the stretch and, closing stoutly, just got up. ABBATORO had good early speed and held on well. SIR ROLLIE raced evenly. LOFTY LADY lacked early speed, gradually improved her position while saving ground on the inside and closed stoutly. THREATENING raced jvenly and had no excuse. STARELLA II. had some early speed.
