The latter took command under steadying restraint, drew away after a half mile, but tired in the drive. KUVITO was forced wide while improving his position and tired after offering a mild bid in the stretch. MORE PEP quit after offering a strong bid. BRILLIANT PAL was weakly ridden. MAGIC LINE quit. CROWNED HEAD, hustled into the lead soon after the start, gave way to MARY FRANCINE nearing the final quarter, came again in the stretch, but tired " in the last stages. EVELINE F. raced wide.
