Another horse was returned to her former owner when Fred Turner, Jr., claimed Miss Anthony for . Jockey M. Garrett, who is under contract to E. Drillon, arrived from Columbus. E. Fitzpatrick, who is under contract to N. Casbeer, was an arrival from Texas. Fitzpatrick, who has not ridden a winner yet, shows promise of becoming a fair rider. J. Lessert arrived from Columbus with Bank Shot, Omar Jones, and Alkali Post. L. C. Barnes, with Chicredo, the only horsd in his care, arrived from Oklahoma.
