QUEEN FULL, away fast but inclined to bear out throughout, forged to the front rearing the final three-eighths, gave way in the stretch, bore out badly when challenged, but won easily. HEARTY moved up fast after an eighth, but tired after offering a bold bid after a half mile. RIGOROUS, forced to lose ground when improving his position, came through the field for the drive and closed with a rush. ENCIRCLE took command under hustling tactjes and tired. JADVA had no mishaps. CELTIC PRINCE, away well but unable to keep up early, was steered to the outside in the stretch and held on gamely. HEAVY SUGAR, a strong factor from the start, saved ground after three-eighths and finished strongly. BROWN WITCH, fractious at the start and away slowly, made up ground in the drive. GREY PAL, outrun for a half mile, was sent to the outside at the stretch turn and closed with -a rush. WICCES took command at once, was unable to draw clear and quit badly after relinquishing the lead. CABLEGRAM showed nothing. Overweight Ulrica, 1 pound. RED GARTER rushed to the front soon after the start, was unable to draw clear, but held on gamely. STEPONIT raced evenly. ODERIC, forced back at the far turn, made up ground when clear.
